Mercy Creek – Nampa, ID

Located on the site of the historic Mercy hospital which succumbed to a fire in 2016 this blighted site was revitalized with our construction of a senior apartment community.  Opened in 2019, the $9.1 million, 50 unit, and three-story apartment project transformed the neighborhood it is located in.  Galena secured low-income housing tax credits to help with the development of the site to construct units for low and moderate income seniors.  Mercy Creek consists of studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom units.  Each unit comes equipped with central heat/AC, ceiling fans, and fully equipped kitchens.  The apartment complex has a clubhouse, laundry facilities, a pickle ball court, computer lab, picnic area, and community playground.  Residents benefit from adult education and after school programs.  The project has been a success with a waiting list existing for units prior to completion.
